The Shultzi Files: First Trip to Disneyland

For Christmas John and I bought ourselves Disneyland passes. We have not had them in a few years, and since everyone else seems to have one--we decided to join in the fun! Our first venture out was a family affair. We went with John's sister Amy's family, John's sister Julie's kids, John's dad and stepmom, and John's brother-in-law's sister's family. Phew! That was a mouthful.

This was also a momentous occasion as it was Tyler's first trip to Disneyland!

"Man, there is so much to look at! I am soooo excited!"

"Enough with these stupid hats, show me a ride!"

After we all got situated, most of us went on Space Mountain, and Grandma and Grandpa Shultz took Tyler into innoventions.

Somewhere in there, Tyler got his first bite of a Cinnamon Roll-Yummy! Next we went on Autopia, then headed for lunch. There is this cool baby feeding area at the end of Mainstreet with changing tables, a nursing area, high chairs, and a toddler potty (we are not there yet, but someone might be). If you are taking a little one to Disneyland, it is awesome.

After lunch, we decided to go on Pirates of the Carribean. This was Tyler's first official ride at Disneyland.

"Do I have to go?"

"We are ready to go!"

"Get me off of this ride!"

"Well, maybe it is not that bad!"

He actually seemed to really enjoy it. He kept looking back to see more of the things that were going on. It was fun to take him on one of our favorite rides at Disneyland.

After that ride, Grandma and Grandpa took Tyler to the Tiki room, while the rest of us went on Big Thunder mountain!

Our final stop was the Tower of Terror. John wanted to get his dad on this ride and was trying to convince him all day. Finally we got him there. First John took his sister and the kids, then he got his dad on the ride.
