Hey all,
Life has been a little crazy for Amy lately, so she has not had a chance to post some things from the summer (3rd person talk, a lot of fun and I believe a sign that you are going crazy). Hopefully the blogs are worth the wait. I will be working on one a day for a week or so.
This year, John and I got to pick what we each wanted to do for one day of our two day "Stay-cation". The day before John's geeky trip to the BTF sights(check out 1.21 gigawatts of fun), we took Tyler to Sea World. We had Fun passes from January and thought it could be a fun part of our "Stay-cation". I know, many of you are thinking-6 month old and an amusement park? Really?
Well, we did it and it was a really great day!
Since it takes a while to get going with an infant, we finally got to Sea World after 12 (We had a lunch and feed Tyler break on the way down).

Here are some highlights of our day:
Tyler enjoyed watching and sleeping near the seals and sea lions

He enjoyed touching and tasting the things we would let him touch or taste. We tried to get him to touch a sting ray, but they don't come up to the surface close enough and his arm is only so long. He actually tried to eat the salt water wall, but we decided that was not a good idea. We did let him drink off of the bottom of the cup.

"Finally they let me put something in my mouth. Mommy and Daddy are so mean."
This picture shows that Tyler might actually look at bit like his mommy:).jpg)
We were a little afraid that Tyler would not make it through the Shamu show without getting fussy; however he made it through with flying colors. I think it had a lot to do with the people behind us making faces at him before the show.
Tyler slept the whole way home in the car and transferred easily into his bed, then slept until we woke him up for the BTF tour the next day!.jpg)
